Systems Division (CSD) of Toshiba America Information
Systems, Inc. (TAIS) continues to earn industry praise for
its technology and innovation with a Best of Comdex award
for its Portege(tm) 3010CT.  A panel of PC Week editors,
industry analysts and IT managers from various industries
recognized the Portege 3010CT as the Best Desktop and Mobile
System at a ceremony held yesterday.  Earlier this week,
Toshiba earned the PC Magazine Technical Excellence Award
for its Tecra(tm) 8000 series, the PC Computing MVP Product of
the Year Award for its Portege 3010CT and two additional MVP
Awards for its Satellite(tm) 2505CDS and Portege 3010CT.

prevailed over hundreds of notebook and desktop PCs
including the three other finalists, the Hewlett-Packard Co.
HP Kayak XW PC Workstation, Vadem Clio and C Technologies
ABC Pen.
