Toshiba Portege 3010 & 3020
Introduction
These pages are devoted to the Toshiba Portégé 3010CT and the Toshiba Portégé 3020CT notebook computers, released in 1998 and 1999 respectively.
The 3010 has an Intel Pentium 266 MHz MMX processor (300 MHz on the 3020), 32 MB RAM (max. 96 MB), a 6 GB hard disk and a 10.4" active TFT screen with 2 MB of video memory.
These models don't have a cooling fan - they rely on their metal structure for passive cooling - so are quiet. They were among the most portable computers at the time of their release: less than 2 cm thick, smaller than an A4 page and 1.3 kg in weight.
